About Claudio Lopez

I was born on a US naval base in Morocco, to an Italian mother and a Filipino father. My father served in the US Navy and retired after 20 years. I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. Our family moved here in 1967. After graduation from Sandalwood high school, I enlisted in The United States Marine Corps, and after eight years service was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. I worked with customer service for over 18 years with ten years as a customer care consultant with America Online. After an automobile accident, I met up with Chiropractor in a health fair hosted by AOL. I really didnt think my aches and pains including headaches were because of my accident but found out how regular chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy were very therapeutic. This changed my career path as I enrolled in The Heritage Institute where I earned an Occupational of Applied Science (OAS) degree in massage therapy with certification in neuromuscular massage therapy (NMT). I actually worked for a year at the same chiroractic that treated me. I'm a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). I am also a licensed therapist for the state of Florida and insured by American Casualty Company of Reading. My certifications include Personal Trainer and Boxing Fitness Instructor, I am also attaining my black belt in Karate and will be instructing.
I try to stay physically active and with my older sister lift weights and run six days a week. I am married to my lovely wife Linda since 1993 and I have two pets, a Golden Retriever named Nettington, a Jack Russell mix named Tessa, and a Sun Conure (Parrot type bird) named Rothbury. I recently bought a Yamaha VStar Classic motorcycle and you will usually see me riding around town with it.
